Corciano

It is typical medieval Umbrian Castle where the time seems to have stopped. The tall boundary wall preserves the inner village the "Borgo", rich of history and works of art. Inside there is a multitude of narrow streets, ancient steps, palaces, gardens, churches, bell towers and workshops. The visitor can easily imagine the interesting historical figures coming out the doors of the houses walking by with their old armours. From the height of its walls it can be admired a beautiful view to the Lake Trasimeno, Mount Amiata and Martani hills.
