Staying in this holiday farm is an occasion to discover an amazing landscape of hills covered with broom and woods full of mushrooms, truffles and aromatic herbs where hare, deer and wild boar live undisturbed.

The farm is the result of careful restructuring with respect for the original rural architecture with regard to forms and selection of materials.

The holiday farm offers eight comfortable rooms with bathroom, all furnished with wood and wrought iron pieces, and with lovely view of the surrounding lavender fields.

Once used for wine-making and still preserving the old vaulted brick ceilings, there are common rooms for the guests’ use: rooms with fireplace, conference room, dining room and a large panoramic terrace where you can enjoy the unforgettable sunsets.

The kitchen bases its dishes on natural and organic products, knowingly employed according to the local culinary traditions and with special attention to aromatic herbs.

At the farm there is a wood-burning oven where bread and other baked goods are still made. Honey, essential oils, organic and biodynamic medicinal herbs, and wine (dolcetto and barbera) are some of the farm’s products you can taste during your stay.

You can partake in various activities while you stay with us: excursions, mountain-biking, swimming pool with hydromassage, horseback riding, archery, ping pong. It is also possible to participate in various courses: cooking and bread-making, wine tasting and winery visits, apiculture, herbalism, Tai-chi-chuan, reflexology, Shiatsu and Bach flowers. (These courses are periodically organized in collaboration with experts and are based on a minimum number of participants.)

Woods. Stone. Herbs. This is the essence of this zone which fits between Piedmont and Liguria, bordered by the Alps and the Apennines, between Monferrato and Langa, along the salt routes travelled by anchovy merchants and religious pilgrims of the past.

In a land so rich, there is never a lack of interesting naturalistic excursions or cultural visits. In a range of 20-30 km you can visit the hidden treasures of Acqui Terme (triptych by Bermelo, the prodigal son of Arturo Martini, the San Francesco picture gallery, the Roman thermal pool, noble palaces from the 16th and 17th centuries, regional wine shop), relax at a spa or play a round of golf.

But all of the territory, from da Cortemilia to Roccaverano and Sassello, until the sea at Albisola, Celle Ligure and Savona, is full of castles, towers and Medieval villages which bring to mind a history waiting to be discovered, without forgetting the eno-gastronomic productions that are the pride of this area: wines (Dolcetto, Barbera, Brachetto, Cortese and Moscato), robiola cheese (PDO di Roccaverano), wild game, and finally mushrooms, truffles, honey and sweets made with chestnuts and hazelnuts.
